Thanks Andrew Hougan. Our priest tells us about the parish boundaries of the diocese every once in awhile. Funny, I thought the Rockford Diocese was much bigger.

This is really cool. I see how the Church and the Diocese of Rockford, Joliet, Chicago, etc. all fit and work together. My priest is a pastor who talks about this sometimes. So this is helpful to see the larger picture of our Catholic identity.

Very helpful – Andrew Hougan. My pastor told us about this kind of thing when we came into the parish. We didn’t put it all together. He said each priest belongs to a Diocese, like Rockford, Chicago or whatever. Now it makes more sense.
